Rob Baker

Medical Director

Dr. Rob Baker is a duly qualified physician licensed to practice medicine in BC since 1980; he is certified by the International Society of Addiction Medicine (I.S.A.M.) as well as the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine (C.S.A.M.) and has completed multiple post-graduate training programs in the field of Addiction Medicine.

Patricia Sekutowska

Clinical Director

Patricia is inspired by and passionate about the profound changes that recovery can bring to people’s lives. She integrates her lived experience and formal education to support clients through a decolonizing lens.

Michael Lowes

Clinical Administrator

Michael has an educational and personal interest in working with diverse populations and prides himself on providing compassionate care and a seamless transition from the admission process through our clients' discharge and continuing care planning.

Christopher Hum

Addictions Counsellor

Christopher Hum holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, is registered through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and served as clinical director of Sage Health Centre between September 2023 and May 2026.

Adam Szpak

Addiction Counsellor

Adam Szpak holds a Bachelor of Social Work, which he obtained through UCC, and a Masters of Social Work from Dalhousie University.

Lorne Forseille

Addiction Counsellor

Lorne has over 30 years experience working with individuals where substance use has led them to be in conflict with the law.

Taryn Coleman

Addiction Counsellor

Taryn Coleman holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Psychology and Sociology from Thompson Rivers University, and has further enhanced her expertise by completing a range of workshops in mental health first aid, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and de-escalation training.

Michelle Raglin

Gary Dhillon

Support Manager

Gary has spent 6 years working as a support worker and currently oversees all aspects of our support staff. He brings his combined experience to staff and clients; supporting, training, and problem solving.

Anita Carr

Client Support Administrator

Anita's training includes medication management and at Sage, she is assistant to our medical staff, and assists the support team with admissions, step reviews, medication dispensing, and discharges.

Support staff and Attendants

Our support staff are our “go-to” workers; they bring their enthusiasm and extensive experience in providing compassionate care to our clients. They have all earned a two-year human services diploma or equivalent combined education and experience.

Dina McLeod

Certified Yoga Instructor

Dina is a Reiki Master and E-RYT 500hr trauma informed yoga teacher, whose heart forward, compassionate energy flows freely in all that she offers.

Chef Patricia and Chef Cory

Chef Patricia and Chef Cory have extensive experience in the culinary industry and take pride in preparing healthy meals that our clients rave about.

Dean Pawlachuk

Maintenance Supervisor

Dean has a strong work ethic and can fix almost anything. Dean has put countless hours into beautifying our gardens and restoring the facility. He takes great pride in maintaining Sage Health Centre and is an integral member of our team, affectionately deemed the MVP of Sage.

Jan, Selena, & Lori

Our housekeepers work diligently to ensure that Sage meets strict cleanliness and sanitization guidelines and that a room is ready for our client’s arrival seven days a week.
